Looking forward to kicking off our 2013 season with a new drummer " Mike Standerford " . Will have more new blistering drum solo's to bring our fans this new year along with heart warming and foot stomping Southern Rock and Roll !!

Only Thec Music Matters
This band has been playing for years. We have had different names throughout our history, some good and some not so good but everyone of the names held one constant "our desire to play music".. So Why Barn Storm Survivors ?
In the early days of the 20th century powered flights were risky at best. Pilots would fly their planes across the country performing daredevil stunts like walking the airplane wings or death defying loops and dives and giving rides for a small fee to people in outlying rural settings who had never seen an airplane. These were dangerous machines and many pilots died in their pursuit of fame and fortune. Those who survived did so with many close calls and crashes that they for some reason walked away from. They were called " Barnstormers " They pushed the envelope and were compelled to do so.
The Five members of this band have all pushed the envelope with brushes of death and destuction in some manner and have so far lived to tell the tale. We have suffered loss and injury from cancer to heart attacks, near drowning, car wrecks, loss of brothers, mothers, fathers, children, close friends and our musical family members, bitter divorces and break ups and we survived through the trail of tears and kept on playing music as our refuge and shelter.
We have had our share of good times and laughter and have entertained people for no money and have many cases paid to play. We have played for thousands and we have played for few but we always played our music as best as we could and never regretted a single minute.
Our original music takes root in these circumstances and each one has a meaning and a history for each band member. We have collaborated, argued ,laughed ,cried and gone separate ways and always come back together again. Through it all we have held fast to the notion that music is our stronghold to sanity. Our most coveted dream is for you as a fan and listener to receive a moment of relief
from everyday ups and downs and tears. Our pleasure is found in your escape.
